One of the most important aspects of “the offer” to your potential customers or clients is offering a risk reversal opportunity. A risk reversal puts all the risks in your hands, instead of your customers. Why is this important? When your customers can truly feel that their is no risk to try your product they are more likely to make that initial purchase. Your product or service must deliver what you have promised, and go beyond customer expectations to make this work. This goes beyond a money back guarantee, which essentially puts all the risk in the customers hands, as they have to purchase first and ask for a refund if they are not completely satisfied.
Having a risk reversal strategy is one of best ways to build a relationship and customer confidence. It also maximizes your initial sales, and creates opportunities for further sales in the future. A satisfied customer is more likely to refer friends, family, colleagues and more likely to buy more from you in the future. Also a great source for testimonials, and references.
Here are just a few examples:
These are just a few examples of risk reversal guarantees, but you can get as creative as you would like. Also some of these strategies may not work or be appropriate depending on the product or service you are offering. The “Beyond 100% refund” seems to work well when offering to sell an informational seminar. Having the client travel and spend several hours in your presence learning directly from you, and interacting with other customers make it less likely for asking for a refund. But using this strategy for an online product or service may backfire, and would not be appropriate. Offering risk reversal is risky but you must ensure to minimize those risks by fulfilling customer expectations, or delivering enough value to the customer that they would not think of asking for the risk reversal offer.
In the end you want happy and satisfied customers, so you must get your overall “Offer” perfected and deliver the most value that goes beyond customer expecations. Essentially you are making an offer they can not refuse. A risk reversal offer is one way of answering the objections of potential customers. Also building that strong relationship that will endure future product launches.

1) Quick Launch – A Quick Launch is great if you have an established list. Great for a quick pay day, but you need a reason why, although it doesnt need to be a super strong reason. This type of launch can be done with your own product or an affiliate product. Base this launch on a discount, upgrade, or bonus you will be offering. It should be clear to your list as to why you’re doing this launch.
2) Seed Launch – A Seed Launch is for those who don’t have a list or have a tiny list (30-50 people). They typical use of this launch is to gather information from the market and can be used to create a product. You can find out what your customers want, and what their objections are by putting on a teleseminar, teach in a small group setting, hosts a free webinar, a give away a free report. Can advertise these on blogs and forums. A big build up is not necessary, and it sets the stage for an Internal Launch.
3) Internal Launch – An Internal Launch is used when you have a sizeable list. It is highly advised to do this type of launch before attempting an external JV Launch so you can test your customer service, fulfillment, and logistics issues. Internal Launch provide valuable metrics such as conversion rates, ROI, testamonials to be able to attarct JV partners.
4) External Launch/JV Launch – An External Launch leverages the power of networking with JV partners and accessing their lists. This type of launch will massively increase your list, and give you that vertical leap in you niche. Having the conversion and ROI metrics from your internal launch will make it much easier to recruit and attract JV partners when you can prove your offer converts and will be profitable to them.
5) Affiliate/E-commerce Launch – This launch should generally be story-based. Tell the story about when you first got the product, about using it, getting results and then offering it for sale. Use this launch when you have a list or even a small list. Add a bonus to bundle the offer. Use these regularly. This can be done long after a product is first introduced, and it works better that way. Get help from the creator or manufacturer.

When you registering new accounts make sure you use the same username. For example the launch I did for my martial arts training group on YouTube, MetaCafe, Yahoo, MySpace usernames are all bjkninja because the website is bjkninja.com Type in BJK Ninja in Google and see how all my Social Networking sites are listed in the top 10. This happened within a couple of days, instead of months. We started to receive many calls and emails from people locally and internationally. So your username should match your domain name upon registering. Make sure you include your URL information onto the profile section each site your are registering on (YouTube, MetaCafe, Daily Motion….etc.) as it will create more backlinks and traffic for your domain. This process took me several hours as I had to fill out the same forms over and over again. This why outsourcing is a huge time saver, and makes managing product launches less stressfull. Thus allowing you to concentrate on the product and service.
Another service is called Traffic Geyeser with more options and features, but its a pay to use service. TubeMogul is really good for the beginner, and does the basic job.
The best way to do this is to have a MetaCafe account, which you would if you follow step 1, and there is an option (icon) there that says Digg this video and Stumble this video, under the video, above the embed code. Then Twitter or FB your friends to “Digg” your entry. They would need to have a Digg and Stumbleupon accounts, which if they are your “friends” should easily get one for you. Besides MetaCafe, other video share sites like DailyMotion and etc. also have this feature. So you can view your videos there and Digg those also. The Digg entry will be unique for each site, so it will appear as a duplicate. So its better to stick with one video share site, and have everyone digg on it! Make sure when you are uploading the videos on TubeMogul that use as many keywords as possible for what you are trying to attain, and the market you are trying to attract. Imperative that you put your website full URL address in the tubemogul description of the video, some video share sites do not auto-hyperlink your URL if the http:// is not included, so its safer to have always include http:// This will create backlinks and increase your site traffic, quality score, and search rankings.
Ok, after these steps are done, you really need to have a WordPress Blog installed into your site. A self hosted WordPress Blog installed on your webhost.
